Location

This pretty and tastefully renovated detached Breton cottage is located at the end of a quiet drive, providing a secluded base from which to explore northern Brittany.

Set in a small orchard of peach, plum and apple trees, the cottage offers far-reaching views over farmland and lies just 10 minutes from the historic lakeside town of Combourg, with its dramatic Chateau Combourg, one time home of poet Francois-Rene de Chateaubriand.

Outside there is parking for up to four cars, a gravelled patio area and a barbecue.

For golfing enthusiasts there is a choice of two courses just 10 miles away - St. Malo / Le Tronchet and Des Ormes near Dol de Bretagne.

Accommodation

Les Landelles is entered via the kitchen/diner which features a double electric oven, calor gas hob and fridge/freezer, with separate dining area.

The focal point of the spacious lounge is a Breton fireplace with wood burning stove. There is a large dining room table and CD/tape player and a utility room lies beyond.

A feature staircase winds upstairs where there are two attractive double bedrooms and a small changing room.

Duvet covers, pillow cases and towels can be provided on request for a small extra charge.
